Sun Protection

Sun protection is the most effective anti-ageing product there is: UV radiation is responsible for a large share of wrinkles, pigment spots and loss of elasticity. SPF is needed all year round, also on cloudy days, and especially while using retinol or acids or after a peel.

How to choose sun protection:

• Sensitive and post-treatment skin – a mineral filter (zinc oxide, titanium dioxide).
• Oily skin – a light fluid or gel with a matte finish.
• Pigment spots – SPF 50+ with antioxidants; a tinted formula also covers the spots.
• Over make-up – an SPF powder or mist for reapplying during the day.

Protection only works with enough product: about half a teaspoon for the face, reapplied every 2 hours.
