Retinol: Long-term use of vitamin A improves chronic redness associated with rosacea and sensitive skin, which is caused by a chronic vitamin A deficiency in the skin.
Niacinamide reduces transepidermal water loss and increases the skin’s resistance to potential external damage. It enhances ceramide synthesis and stimulates the differentiation of keratinocytes, which accelerates the renewal of the stratum corneum. Due to this improved protective function, the skin is less susceptible to irritation and redness.
Lactobionic acid benefits the skin in several ways by prolonging the cell turnover cycle and acting as an antioxidant. Additionally, it aids in wound healing, has strong moisturizing, water-binding, and film-forming properties, and does not irritate the skin.
